It's My Blogaversary!

Presented By: EJ Cooksey | 3/17/2008 05:56:00 PM

I just realized that it has been exactly one year since I started this blog.

I have learned so much this past year about blogging and making money online.
But, I would have to say that the best part has been the tons of new friendships I have made online.

Thanks to all my friends and readers for making my first year so wonderful!

My stats for this past year:

Over 24,000 visitors to this site.
This will be the 160th post.
I created 10 new blogs, 22 Hub Pages and 7 Squidoo Lens

My earnings since 3/17/07:

Adsense: $ 503.00
Clickbank: $ 332.00
Other Affiliate Sales: $ 235.00
Project Wonderful: $ 21.50
ScratchBack: $ 32.50
Squidoo: $ 35.00
plus other asst earnings: $ 125.00

Total earnings = $ 1284.00
Total expenses = $ 765.00
Total profit since 3/17/07 = $ 519.00

As you can see I have yet to make my "millions" online, but as the old sayings goes: "slow and steady wins the race". Until then, I will keep posting, learning and making new friends.

Congrats EJ!! I'm completely impressed with all the blogs, hubs and lenses you've created! How do you keep up with all of them?? I have 4 blogs and can barely find time...what's your secret, sister?! lol!! Btw, I hate when non-blogger friends ask me how I keep with all my blogs...makes me feel like they think I do nothing but blog! lol!! Those of us who do blog, know that it can be done....so seriously, I'd love to know how you manage it all. Do you have a schedule, office hours, what?! Help. Me!

Congrats on your anniversary! Even with my business I tell people keep at it for 2-5 years and by then hopefully the earnings will be what you expected. You have made a lot more money than most working online. You also have kept track which most do not -I know you will have a lot more coming your way! Keep at it!

Wow great job. You come a long way. I remember when you barely made anything. Just wondering if Thirty Day Challenge help you in making any money?

Great job on the earnings! I just don't see what you put your lost money into? Couldn't be all of that for domains and hosting.

    Thanks for visiting Jared.

The total expenses were for the whole year.

    They included:

Internet service - which was the most expensive. I had a service that was included in my cable and it was costing me about $40 a month. (I have since changed to a lower costing service at $20 a month that just became available in our area.)

I also had several memberships in some membership sites. I have gone through them and the ones that were no longer of benifit to me, I have canceled.

I have 3 domains and 1 hosting account.

I bought ebooks and programs while learning about how to make money online. Most of them were worth the money, some were not. (Learned my lesson on that quickly.)

This year I plan on making at least triple what I made last year. So far for this year, I have already made what I grossed last year, so it is looking good so far.

    Thanks again for visiting!
